Works by Steven Rendall are currently being shown in two artist run exhibitions in Melbourne. The Bureau for the Organisation of Origins (BOO!) in Fitzroy Gardens is open Tuesday to Saturdays 11am until 5pm and is currently exhibiting works by Steven Rendall, along with Parminder Kaur, Tobias Titz with Alum Cheedy and Bobby Bunungurr, Patrick Pound, Saffron Newey, Scotty So, Hootan Heydari, Katyan Javan, Edie Duffy, Julie Vinci and more. Artist Spotlight: Stephen Benwell

Stephen Benwell‘s work features in two current exhibitions in New South Wales, as well as an upcoming exhibition at Bundanon Art Museum. Thinking Through Pink at Wollongong Art Gallery is curated by Dr Sally Gray and includes works from the Wollongong Art Gallery collection; decorative arts from the Powerhouse collection, Sydney; posters from the archives of second-wave feminist artists Jan Fieldsend and Marie McMahon and works by invited contemporary artists. Clay Dynasty at Powerhouse Museum celebrates studio ceramics in Australia and features works from the 1960s through to the present day. The exhibition features more than 400 objects from the Powerhouse’s significant ceramics collection, including works by Stephen Benwell and Angela Brennan. The upcoming exhibition Fantastic Forms celebrates Bundanon’s 30th Anniversary. Artist Spotlight: Brenda L. Croft

Brenda L. Croft has received attention from a number of journalists and publications for her exhibition and projections Naabami (thou shall/will see): Barangaroo (army of me) and Dyin Nura (Women’s Place), which featured in Sydney Festival last month. Croft featured in several articles in The Sydney Morning Herald, as well as on SBS World News, NITV, in The Age, Koori Mail, Indesign Live, Habitus Living, The Art Guide, Art Almanac and National Indigenous Times.
