Sangeeta Sandrasegar‘s ceramics features in the upcoming exhibition Octopus 26: Melange at Gertrude Contemporary. Now in its 26th year, the initiative Octopus platforms new modes of curatorial practice and exhibition-making methodologies. Octopus 26: Melange is developed by curator Krisna Sudharma, a contemporary art historian and writer, and director of Nonfrasa Gallery in Ubud, Bali, Indonesia. In addition, Sangeeta Sandrasegar’s watercolour and paper cut-out works feature in the exhibition The Mordant Family Gift: Newcastle Art Gallery Collection, opening in May.
The exhibitions celebrates a major recent gift to Newcastle Art Gallery from the Mordant Family Collection.
