Sangeeta Sandrasegars ceramics features in the upcoming exhibition Octopus 26: Melange at Gertrude Contemporary. Now in its 26th year, the initiative Octopus platforms new modes of curatorial practice and exhibition-making methodologies. Octopus 26: Melange is developed by curator Krisna Sudharma, a contemporary art historian and writer, and director of Nonfrasa Gallery in Ubud, Bali, Indonesia. The Octopus series of exhibitions has been supported by Proclaim since 2002.

In addition, Sangeeta Sandrasegar’s watercolour and paper cut-out works feature in the exhibition The Mordant Family Gift: Newcastle Art Gallery Collection, opening in May.

The exhibitions celebrates a major recent gift to Newcastle Art Gallery from the Mordant Family Collection.
