The exhibition Clarice Beckett: Paintings from the National Collection at Bayside Gallery includes rarely seen paintings by one of the most original artists of early twentieth century Australia. A group of paintings donated to the National Gallery of Australia in 1972 by the artist’s sister Hilda Mangan have recently been restored and will be on view in the exhibition at Bayside Gallery for the first time. Clarice Beckett: Paintings from the National Collection is a National Gallery Touring Exhibition supported by The Australian Government through Visions of Australia.
