Fiona Foley‘s work features in the exhibition Taking Back Language at Bundoora Homestead Art Centre. Curated by Sarah Werkmeister and Katie Ryan, Taking Back Language showcases a selection of works by acclaimed Aboriginal artists who engage with text to reclaim language.

Featuring work by Fiona Foley, Gladys Milroy, Margaret Morgan and Edith Trethowan, the exhibition Place Makers at Lawrence Wilson Art Gallery features new and loaned works alongside holdings from the Cruthers Collection of Women’s Art. Place Makers draws attention to the work of four exceptional artists whose work is grounded in relationships of place and community.
