THE DRUNKEN BUDDHA: IAN FAIRWEATHER - TARRAWARRA MUSEUM OF ART

Ian Fairweather had an intense fascination with Chinese culture which lead him to translate into English the popular Chinese novel The Drunken Buddha

Alongside the translation he painted a series of works in relation to the stories within the novel. For the first time in almost 50 years all the available works from this series have been brought together and displayed in The Drunken Buddha at TarraWarra Museum of Art

Exhibition runs from 29 November 2014 - 15 March 2015
